Malayer University began its operations in 1991. Currently, the university offers 85 academic departments, which include:
- 14 departments at the doctoral level
- 40 departments at the master’s level
- 31 departments at the undergraduate level
Malayer University has more than 5,634 Iranian and international students enrolled at various levels, including undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, and post-doctoral programs.
