UNIVERSITY OF TABRIZ
This university was founded in 1947 by two professors from the University of Tehran, Mostafa Habibi and Khan Baba Bayani.
Currently, the University of Tabriz has:

29 scientific centers and educational complexes
Over 24,000 students
Approximately 800 faculty members
Around 200 specialized and general laboratories, providing one of the best educational and academic environments in the country.
The University of Tabriz has published:
22,900 national research papers
19,600 international research papers
It ranks sixth among Iranian universities in terms of the number of published research articles.
In 2021, according to Leiden University’s ranking system, the University of Tabriz ranked 486th globally and fourth among all universities in Iran.
